Employer branding through digital glasses

Employer branding, a word we all hear very often. Fortunately, because the term is incredibly important. I even dare to call it an all-time HR trend. What exactly does the term include? It’s actually not so difficult. It's a way to stand out among your competitors. And a very important one. The word says it all, you put your company in the spotlight as a strong brand on the job market. You try to attract the perfect candidates.

Beat the war for talent!

There’s an acute shortage of talent, that’s a fact. "How can you recruit the right staff in this war for talent?" The pressing question that keeps haunting every HR manager's head.

Developing a solid employer branding attracts the niche talents you are looking for. Well, how do you do that? Below you will find a few short, hands-on tips that you can immediately get to work with.

  1. Make your employees the most loyal ambassadors of your employer brand. And make them aware of their unique role as ambassadors.
  2. You do this by spreading a strong culture in your company and making sure it inspires everyone.
  3. Talk to your employees and learn what distinguishes you as an employer.
  4. And last but not least, just be your honest self. Honest communication will pay off in the long run.

Let’s get digital!

So there you go, if you have a strong employer brand, then it's very important to exploit it. And let's be honest, is there any better way to do so than online? No there isn’t, and I'll prove it to you with concrete figures:

  • 79% of candidates use social media in their job search.
  • For example, 62% of candidates also visit your social media to 'evaluate' your employer brand.

Let's get to the point now. How can you 'promote' your employer brand on social media? The very best way to do so is with a short, powerful video. Why? A social video generates 1200% (!) more shares than text and images combined. On top of that, it also provides an excellent candidate experience. That's why. For a video you can actually do two specific things:

  1. Casting a specific vacancy in a video, in order to get more applications in the short term.
  2. Or you can use a general employer brand video in which you highlight your strengths as a company, in order to get more influx in the long term.

What's the best way to get started? Simple. Just open this window, see how we can boost your vacancy and ask us!

Not so difficult at all, is it?

We'd love to hear from you! See you soon?
